The COVID-19 pandemic was full of a lot of bad, but the affordances of modern media allowed for the spreading of some good.

To explore the ways in which media and technology were sometimes used for good during the COVID-19 pandemic, I wrote a five-page paper (for my COMM 490 class) about some of the positive uses of what we called "the platform society."
